AHPRA Registration
Your healthcare registration is the credential that unlocks medico lending policies.
What is AHPRA Registration?
The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency oversees the registration of health professionals across 15 disciplines — medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physiotherapy, psychology and more. AHPRA registration is the legal prerequisite to practising, and the credential that unlocks specialist lending policies.
How it works in practice
Lenders with medico policies use AHPRA registration as the qualifier. You simply provide your registration number during the application. Different tiers of eligibility apply — some professions access 90% LVR no-LMI, others access slightly different terms.
Why it matters for you
Your AHPRA registration is worth real money on your home loan. Under our medico policy, it can mean $15,000–$45,000 saved in LMI, HECS excluded from serviceability, and future income accepted for borrowing capacity.
