Home loans / Accountants & lawyers

Your career has a structure. Your home loan should fit it.

Salary, partnership income or your own practice? Start with how you earn and what you want to do. Wity helps accounting and legal professionals work through buying or refinancing.

How you work matters

Start with the income behind the job title.

A professional title does not explain every payment on your bank statement. These are the details to bring into the conversation.

I'm employed, with more than a base salary.

Separate regular and variable pay

Explain your base pay, bonuses, allowances and any additional employment. Share recent changes in role or pay so your adviser can check the evidence each lender needs.

I'm a partner or run my own practice.

Explain how the business pays you

Describe the ownership structure and how you receive salary, drawings or distributions. Tax returns, financial statements and other records may be relevant; the required documents depend on the lender and circumstances.

I'm buying. How far will my deposit go?

Put purchase costs beside the deposit

Consider savings, stamp duty, conveyancing and other upfront costs together. Ask whether any profession-related options apply under current lender policy, rather than assuming your job guarantees a benefit.

My career has changed since I took out this loan.

Review the current arrangement

A new partnership, practice or household plan may change what you need. Compare your existing rate, features and remaining term with alternatives, including switching costs.

Prepare for the conversation

Bring the detail that a payslip can miss.

Organise the information your adviser needs to check the available paths.

Estimate purchase costs
Professional and employment details
Give your exact occupation, employer or practice, employment structure and relevant professional membership. Membership and job title alone do not establish loan eligibility.
Income and commitments
Include employment and business income, existing loans, other debts and household costs. Flag recent changes rather than treating last year's figures as the whole picture.
Your goal and the features you need
Explain whether you are buying or refinancing, your available funds and what matters in day-to-day use. Weigh fees, repayment flexibility, offset and loan term together.

Any profession-specific option requires a current lender-policy check and full assessment. This page does not establish eligibility for an LMI waiver, a particular deposit or a rate.

The next steps

From your work arrangements to a considered loan plan.

Explore a starting point, then work through the evidence and choices with the team.

  1. Match

Choose buying or refinancing and tell us about your finances and plans. Matched options are indicative, based on your answers, rather than a recommendation or approval.

  2. Connect

Discuss your work, income and priorities with Wity. This discovery conversation identifies the next steps without giving a loan recommendation or credit advice.

  3. Plan

Your adviser prepares your WityLoanPlan and explains the recommendation at a strategy meeting. Figures and options may change as the details are verified.

  4. Settle or Switch

After you accept your loan proposal, Wity prepares the application for lodgement. The lender assesses it; if approved, Wity helps coordinate settlement or your refinance switch.

Accepting a proposal authorises preparation. It does not submit an application or guarantee approval.

General information only, not a personal recommendation. Income treatment and any occupation-specific options depend on current lender policy, supporting evidence, eligibility and full assessment. Matched options and estimates are indicative. Approval and particular benefits are not guaranteed.
